Now haven't I bean moaning about this for ages, seems West Mercia police are at last taking action. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-he ... r-20177909 Hereford is the next county down, and quite a step from here, but with a bit of luck they'll prosecute the bastards here in north Shropshire too. Not funny to come round a corner at 45 - 50 and in front of you there's a sea of mud, where the hell to go, if it's fresh mud I aim for between the tracks, but if it's rained you just have to hang on and hope for the best as the front wheel starts sliding. Can't they invest in even just a basic wheelwash. Feckers
Glad it's not just me. Where I live, there are only really three decent roads in and out of our little town, and all are virtually impassable for the majority of bikes. I'm sure that I once read somewhere that farmers are under an obligation to clean up their mess, or could be prosecuted for obstructing a highway. Round here it's hard to distinguish where the fields end and the roads begin!
Same around here. The fields are saturated and any rain runs off onto the road carrying mud with it. Sent from an Android
