Tried posting in other bike section but it wouldn't let me.

Bought this, K7 Gsxr1000 with only 9k on the clock, Making the step up to the litre bike, I was in 2 minds about it, but Only heard good things about the Gixxer K7 IMG-20190127-WA0029.jpg IMG-20190127-WA0030.jpg Snapchat-1483380250.jpg

  4. Always good to get a new bike isn't it?
Have to say that it's decades since I owned a Suzuki, funny how we are drawn towards certain brands.
    Enjoy :)

Cheers lads. MOT on Friday and hopefully get a run on Sunday.

Always a good feeling indeed, I was swaying more for 2008 R1 but the Gixxer was on the island and i know the previous owner very well. Buzzing to learn a knew bike though!

I nearly did a deal on a k5 last week for my Mille but opted against mot history was iffy and looked track ready which was a put off no std parts .

  8. Also you hopefully realised that it was a MENTAL decision to get rid of the Mille! especially a late version 1 with radial Ohlins etc in that condition. Don't be mental!

How do you guys find the 1000cc compared to the 675?
Is there a big jump and word the extra CC's.

It’s massive not so noticeable in 1st/2nd gear then it’s like being on a missile

See my Mille the torque on take off is a big difference it’s rapid compared but then get going not much difference for me anyway .

  14. Same, I even find my mates new GSXR1K really flat up to 8k revs where as the 848 is driving hard out of corners from half that revs. No doubt the litre bikes are ridiculous when you are revving them but that’s not what people do on the road.

Unless you are a hero of course...
