Hi all silly question but if I change my tank on one of my daytonas can I switch the petrol cap from the old over to the new one so that I don't have to switch keys over if that makes sense?
There's definitely a difference on the tanks as I've found recently while trying to fit a race filler cap. Not sure what year the change is though.
Gank, do we assume you thinking of improving your newer Daytona, by swapping over to the more attractive & exclusive Grey bodywork from your older Daytona.?
If the tanks are different then surely they're not interchangeable without changing some other part like the seat??
Not 100% sure but I think tanks are same shape and size, just the fixing of the fuel cap that differs.
It would just be an 07 tank swap and St Marks no I'm working on a project idea for the grey Daytona well it won't be grey for much longer once I've paid some other things off first though
