I got the android app this evening but not got time to test tip tomorrow.

Its very small, very light and easy to use. Mounts same as GoPro. Will get some footage of something tomorrow to show you guys.

Looks quality for a new brand sounds and looks like they have done a good job from the outset

  7. Yeah, definitely mate!

I'm starting to collect these bloody things... Here's a quick photo next to my hero 3+ silver. They weigh about the same with the Olfi maybe a smidge lighter.

I got an email from Olfi this morning with a firmware update for me to try 1440p. They also said they expect to have another firmware update in Summer that will add support for a USB or HDMI port external mic. Looks even better value now!

    i look forward to reviews
im actually in the process of discussing using my go pros on our fork lifts at work
were having trouble convincing some they are close to being run over buy just walking through our warehouse totaly disregarding our h&s policys to safe gaurd them 3 ton fork lift v 10 stone human think i might come off best in this 1

  11. I just sent them an email asking some detailed technical stuff and warranty related stuff. If they answer correctly, I might get one. I was after the Xiaomi Yi which is good enough for the price, but it comes with no accessories.
Could I get some reviews from the people of this forum who got their Olfi? The video quality on a motorbike is the most important aspect for me.

What technical stuff do you need to know? I had a long chat with them so might know some of the answers.

  13. Bit rate for each resolution, angle in degrees for each mode (wide, narrow, fish eye rectification), warranty, return policy.
    Thanks!

Leave it with me I can tell you in an hour or so when I look at the files. You can choose normal or high bitrate if your card is fast enough. Angles I would guess form what I've seen is 90, 120, 160, 170 for 1440P. Warranty is 12 months. They are an offshoot of Hedcamz who are well known over here.

  15. Thanks! Do you also know if the gopro accesories are compatible with Olfi?

Ok here is the quick test I did. Embedded for ease of use but I really suggest watching on Vimeo in HD. Info on settings in the description.

  19. I highly appreciate your time and effort, but loading your video on vimeo which doesn't support 60 fps or resolutions more than 1080p is bad.
Recording a video at 60 fps is not only for slow motion, but also to have sharper image when there is a lot of movement.

The quality of the image is not yet there. Colors are not at Sony level of quality and sharpness seems to be on par with the £55 Xiaomi Yi.
