Does anyone know either way if a standard Triumph quickshifter can be used with the RACE SHIFT STYLE TRW rearsets? These are the ones used in the TTC which use the vertical shift rod instead of the horizontal one through the frame. Cheers

  2. Does the rod get pulled or pushed when you shift up. The standard QS is a pull.

  3. No, RACE needs a push QS. Standard is pull

  4. Have you got a picture? If it's like my mates you can use the std one for both, you just need to swap the lever on the output shaft around 180degrees.

  5. But surely you would than need a push qs?

Ah good point!! No it won't work, cheers guys.

  7. Not if you can change the position of the link rod on the gear lever, my mate's have a position before and after the pivot so you can run the std pull qs to do both, assuming you aren't running the standard water reservoir.

  8. I understand now, that's a neat set-up. Are they the TRW ones too?

  9. They are the cheap as chips ones of eBay from China, they are a copy of an American set, can't remember the make.

Very well made and finished, especially for £170.
