started looking at mine, havent ridden yet, track bike. Front seems loose and isnt fixed, should it have a 2nd front subframe (like a box) ? Race seat with foam pad not std seat type

There are different style of base they secure too, but yes most full seat and tail piece in one have a base underneath the front and the seat secure to that

I'll throw done up. Guy said it was new body kit do suspect there is a bit missing. Bit annoying!

  4. If it's any consolation the seat Base parts aren't always in the fairing kits. They are usually anot extra as once you have one you can usually use it even after the tail unit has been trashed.

Thx fellas. So if I spin it upside down it should have holes to show how it fixes to the subframe. I had a Minster race seat that had the same set up, but this one doesnt have holes in the seat pad for the bolts, may be that he hasnt simply put them in

Closer inspection the fella had screwed the seat to the subframe, so it was there bit not fixed. Now I see why: why of the bolt fixings is bugerred, so had to drill out the fixings and f'glass the big holes it left so I can fit a new home for the bolt
