Looking at changing my daytonas throttle as its pretty rubbish around the track. I've seen ones with various throttle tubes that are in excess of £100 whats everyone using?
I just read about that, does it really reduce the turn by up to a 1/4 I quite like a loose throttle at low speeds but for full throttle its ridiculous on the track
I use a venhill quick action throttle, I really like it on track. Means I can get the throttle wide open much quicker coming out of corners
1050 makes big improvement on standard 675 throttle......on the earlier models anyway not sure what newer models are like
I'm picking my bike up in two weeks an it has a quick action throttle on it. I really don't want it on there as I'm a new rider an I think it's going to make things worse for me. How easy are they to remove an return to standard?
If it is just the popular "1050 throttle tube mod", then you are unlikely to even realise it is on there mate. Remember; You have control of the throttle. If, as said above it's the std one, then it is very easy indeed to change back.
is there much difference in the 1050 tube and the standard. The only thing that stops me getting a QA throttle for the track is I actually like to have a bit of play in my throttle I don't like just on and off. is it worth going down the road of QA or just the 1050
the thing is a 1050 throtle tube is cheap if its not what you want it wont be a big loss unlike some full on q/a throttles why not try 1 and see
