I was wondering what the best way to remap the ecu is. Do triumph charge much? Or is there some software and adapter i could get for my laptop? Can you do much to tune the stock ecu, or is it better to get a power commander?

My questions are partly so I know my bike better, but Im also considering trading down from my Arrow can to stock as I prefer the aesthetics.

Tune ECU is the software to re-map, easy to use.

If you want to change down from your Arrow, a TOR can is a better option than Std IMHO mate.

Thanks! Do you know if there a way to get hold of the stock map?

Just to add that if you buy your cable form Ebay then search Tune ECU cable to make sure you get one with the right chip in it, It must be a FDTI cable.

I've just started playing with TuneECU today and its so easy, fantastic bit of kit.

Just disconnect your headlight bulb to save power while you're downloading the bikes existing map as it can take a little while and save that as a master, save any modified versions separately so you can always go back to the start. So far I've re-calibrated the speedo (68 on the dash was 60 on the GPS) and turned the secondary air injection off.

Cheers folks. An obvious question, but where is the ODB port on the Daytona?

Is exup and secondary air injection the same thing?

    68 vs 60??? woah, that's quite a discrepancy!

  8. It's under the seat near the battery

  9. The exup is in the exhuast and resticts it at low rpm. The seconday air injection adds air into the exhaust on closed or part throttle and gives the popping sound on over run.
