Should this be like this!?

Hello, just after some advise, been cleaning my street triple and noticed one fixing is different one side to the other (see pics) is this normal if not why would it be like that!?

 

Can't see why not.

It's a long ass bolt that goes all the way through so needs a bolt the other end.

The ones that hold the Subframe above have bolts on the inside cause they're shorter.

It's annoying if you want it to match but could always get some plastic caps/covers if you wanna hide the nut side

 

No, the cable from the quickshifter should be in the slot on top of the rod

Yes I see what you mean about the slot, the cable runs underneath the rod for some reason!!

 

Just turn the rod or the quickshifter 180 degrees if it bothers you, should look like this with a rubber band instead of the cable tie for neatness.
just thinking about it maybe mine would look better with the cable underneath and the rod rotated.

 

It does look neater that way, I’ll add it to the list of jobs for the wknd! Thank you!
