im quite tempted. not sure im fit enuf for it tho. 101 DB noise limit at 7,500 rpm for 3 cyclinder engines anyone know what the TOR DB reading is roughly?
It's 6500rpm. I measured mine (Arrow, without baffle) the other day and it was 98dB. So if the TOR is similar then you should be alright.
the tor maybe more poss 103-105. get yourself a baffle just incase you'll need to dril a small holr but nothing drastic. hope you have fun
iv seen threads before about putting a baffle in the tor can any ideas where i can get one? would be handy instead of my local mot guy putting exhaust noisy on every mot i get
Ebay. Search the forum there is a couple of links in previous threads. My mouse is playing up otherwise I'd put the link up for you. Sorry.
found them i need to measure the outlet diamiter to get the rite one (3 to choose from) does it really do any damage running a tor can without changing the map? i understand im not getting the full gains from it. My nearest dealer (ongar motorcycles) want £35 to put it on i know it should be less
Can you not do it yourself using an OBD11 cable (Ebay again) and TuneECU free software on your laptop. If you don't have the neccessary perhaps a member close by could do it for you. 5 minute job.
I held my throttle at 6k and my TOR measured 101 at Brands. I sold a baffle a few months back, search the sale area. For image. eBay about £8.
