Need new rear tyre, currently michelin pilot but local bike shop only has bridgestone batleaxe tyres. Not sure of tbem.

Need tyre tomorrow fully fitted in or near Eadtbourne as slow puncture plus centre if tyre very worn almost a slick.

    2010 675 triple not an R

  2. I have street triple and swapped from Michelin to Bridgestone :) much better for my riding IMO anyway

Are you asking for tyre advice, a 2nd hand tyre or tyre shop recommendation John?

Cheers, I will try one then.

With the Michelins I found the rear to slide after heavy braking into bends after approaching too fast(as I tend to do) but thought that was my bad judgement as only just out of the novice ranks as a born again biker. But stripple stikl goes round bends workout me falling off, a bit like drifting in a car.
Nearly crapped my self first time it happened on bend coming out of camber sands. Sure anyone been there will know that bend. Face of woman coming the other way was comical, God knows how missed side of her car.

So the Bridgestone it is then just a bit concerned that the front tyre will still be a Michelin. Is that going to be a problem ?
