holy shit, the boy can drive!! (just a shame about them funboy trabs he's wearing) love a go on that course on me tona
If you look at the road surface, you can see how many “takes” they had to attempt before they got it right. I wonder just how many damaged repairable 650hp Fiesta’s are flooding the reclamation yards of downtown San Francisco..
A lot of that is not just going to be him trying to "get it right", although I'm sure there's instances of that. Much of it will be him trying to push the envelop of what the car can do at any given spot, experimenting with different camera angles, etc.....in the director's cut of the movie "Ronin", John Frankenheimer (RIP) gave some fascinating insight to the lengths they go to when filming that sort of thing....well worth watching.
I must be getting old because all I kept thinking while watching the video was "that must have cost a fortune to close down portions of the city" and "Why don't his alloys match?" :s
NOW THAT'S FRICKING AWESOME!!! What a skilled fella and has to be one of the best of these type vids i'v ever seen! Thanks so much for posting D!
I love ken blokes Gymkhana films, check out his 4th one at universal studios I thought that one was amazing!!
Hmmm I wonder if he'd let me borrow one? :-D What skill he has and yes, it would be interesting to see how much it cost to close down do much of the city. Where next New York, London, Dubai?
