Im currently waiting to build up a years no claims bonus on my speed four, ive been riding a little while but unfortunately had an accident last year, came off of my own accord unscathed, anyway I basically am now waiting for a years ncb to turn around in January and im set to trade in my speedy and get a 675...

what im wondering tho, is there anything I can do in the mean time other than save up shit loads of money, what would u of done differently the first time u purchased a daytona?

Ive already been looking at the market so im gathering as much info as I can, but any advice would be more than welcome :D

Set yourself a target of how much you want to spend, then save about £500 more!

So you an get a few goodies after

Find a brick built garage to store it in if you haven't already got one at home?

    Take your IAM test.

£99, a proper laugh, a better rider than before and cheaper insurance - worth its weight in gold!

Will the IAM test really knock more off your insurance than it costs? I wouldn't mind doing it but I don't know if I'd really get along with the anal impression some of them carry, or am I assuming too much?!

I'm aiming to spend no more than £5500 on a second hand 675, right now it has to be a 2010 SE in white/blue or the black/gold with as many extras as I can bag I guess :D

I had that impression too, and I turned up on an r1 to meet a bloke on a pan euro.

We went off for the first ride and i rode how i thought he wanted me to do it. He followed me for 5 minutes and said 'why are you riding like a pansy?'

he said follow me, and f***ed off so fast I struggled to keep up!

Ditch the image, those guys can really ride, and I use the skills 5to this day

Get a tracker the day your new bike turns up. Activate it and stick it on the bike.

Other than that, enjoy the big grin you'll have on your face the first time you twist that throttle and take off like a bat out of hell.

Fair play, looking at there website they offer a few different things, what was it u booked? Skill for life is £139, or a Ride Check Plus which is £40 for an Hours assessment?!

Believe me I'm literally dreaming of the day!

Trackers huh? Have they really taken off from an insurance point of view now or is it purely a security device?!

    Got any more info?
