That's a good point to make sure they complete the log book in front of you with all the correct details.
Well how else are they going to implement it other than by legislating for it?? It kinda works in your favour....it's either taxed for the road, or it's SORN'ed....but at least it's documented in some way in case the worst should happen and the bike is stolen, used to commit a crime, etc. As for if you wanted to use it??.....Well, they're not mind-readers, they don't know what you want....
