Cleaned it, drooled over it. Lovely looking bike, keep thinking about trading her but she's just too beautiful. And put the fairings back on properly after the garage who serviced her didn't spend enough effort getting then back on straight  The plastic bolts in the bottom are a bit of a fiddle, but it's clear when they're on right or wrong.
Standard filter mate. Oil is Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w40 4t. Under £28 from Halfrauds. I also fitted a TOR can, forgot to put that in my original post. Remapped too! Sent from a potato using Tapatalk
Kept yourself busy today then. Been stuck inside all day writing up a dissertation Wish I had the time to wheel the bike out into the sun and wash it down. With a beer.
That was yesterday, but today it's your birthday.! So, what did you do on your bike today TB ? Squashed tomatoes & all that....
Went out for a ride for a few hours while the suns out. Headed towards Basingstoke, Alton, Oldham, back to Basingstoke, then to Reading where some pigeon decided to fly out at me forcing me to duck almost making me shit meself then home haha!! Amazing day next weekend I'll venture out further maybe Stonehenge hit up the A303 if anyone wants to join can meet up lol!! Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 2
Went for a blast this afternoon for a couple of hours with my brother and brother in law down the Fosse Way, Helibars are brilliant by the way! Very comfortable and makes turning so much easier. Felt super confident with them. Should have done it a long time ago! Sent from a potato using Tapatalk
I rode mine and pissed off some Harley riders....funny how they flip you off when you pass them but get a bit hushed when you roll up next to them in the parking lot at Cook's Corner???
Today I have washed and polished the bike as it got filthy yesterday taking it for its first service. I then set about putting the screen name decals and premium www.675.cc decals on as well. I couldn't resist some anodised preload adjusters in Carl Rosners yesterday so chucked them on as well. And then I finally got round to fitting the Techspec Gripster pads on the fuel tank. So having spent from 0715am to 13.00pm tinkering I'm a happy bunny. Am resisting the urge to go out on it today as I have 3 days off this weekend and the weather forecast at the moment is good. If so I shall finish getting it run in (614 miles on clock).
They were originally listed with the wrong description - as Speed triple 675 - at £250 starting bid. (These are £800 approx new). Then the description was amended and they were starting bid £290 + p&p Lets just say they i got a real bargain
MoT'd mine after it came out of winter hibernation and have ridden about 500 miles in sub zero temps over the last two weeks getting used to the cold. Epic fail. Had to give in to frostbite and have fitted a cheap set of stick on heated grips off eBay from The Online Parts Shop. At £19.99 I was a little sceptical they'd be up to it but I have to say they're fab and a doddle to wire in. I did however connect direct to the battery via a new 5A fuse and also installed a nice bright 12v LED so that I can see that they're on, should I forget to switch em off. On setting I they're just toasty warm but on setting II they're extremely hot. These are gonna make it so much more pleasurable to ride on cold mornings. The other thing I finally manage to get around to doing is fit my Datatool alarm and Scottoiler. The alarm is fine but the jury is still out on the Scottoiler as it causes so much oil fling onto the LHS of the rear tyre, swing arm, fairing and stand. I might just revert to manual oiling after all. At least the weather and daylight hours are improving. BSB at Thruxton near Warminster this weekend. Anyone going ?? Cheers. Richard.
