Mine broke a lower engine mounting bolt today, the one that the gear shift is attached to... Happened on the straight while on a track day, session 3 out of 6 too. going to put an wanted advert now if if anyone has one going?
Took project Straytona for its MSVA test and a visit to the DVLA to get it registered just got to wait for the paperwork now and she'll be on the road proper
Not exactly today, as today I have a thumping head from a lot of booze last night. But for the past two days I have been improving my skills on two wheels on track in Almeria Spain where it is supposed to be hot and sunny, what you want for a good tack day ha ha, did not quiet work out that way ha ha.
Rode it over to Newport (Shropshire) it's a terrific road with some great 90 degree bends, and then up the A41 to the Raven cafe, had a brew and a cigarette, saw a very tasty black 675 that I left a note on, so if CX10*** is reading this yes it was me, and then headed home down the A49 to Shrewsbury and the B road to Baschurch. It was very windy and I was blown all over and I hate feckin wind but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger etc.
Looked at mine when I walked past it, hungover on route to get some scoff. Sent from a potato using Tapatalk
Fitted full ventureshield to my fairings to save it from the uk roads. Bit of a pig to fit in places but glad I have done it.
Rode home lastnight and found that when giving it beans over 8k revs the clutch slips......doh! I've been researching and it seems a fairly easy job to do. Strange after just over 8k miles. Clutch plates.....OE or aftermarket? Some 'heavy duty' EBC jobbies on the bay for £49.96. Anyone with experience in this? Sent from a potato using Tapatalk
Very nice speed is your friend.......it's the lorry over taking a push bike on a corner thats the killer!
This is what mine is doing, but much more British. http://youtu.be/bkH2g6VqFkk Sent from a potato using Tapatalk
