What did you get in the post today?

  1. Yeah, if I feel the same I won't go for it, I've only tried it inside but it didn't look too bad with the indicators and brake lights on together as only the red LEDs in the centre get brighter not the ones at either end.

  2. This arrived from the US recently, it came with free shipping but got hit with approx 20 quid import tax.
I saw one at a race last summer and decided it was something for me.

Dunno if they have any worth but thought I’d add a bit of bling. Never heard of Racetorx but seems ok.
Not sure why the instructions say bearing must be lubricated prior to fitting as it only has a brass bushing

My bud Dale started and is currently still the owner of Racetorx and does the work himself. Top lad, good ideas and craftsmanship

  7. Indeed. The stuff looks good. The blue is a good match for the SE frame (09&10)

I figured someone on here would know bout them

Let me know if there is a good improvement

  9. I bought one of these for my SP and sort of misplaced it before getting around to fitting it...looked cracking though :)

Got one of those on my 675, certainly makes shifting seem smoother but could all be in my head

  11. That's strange because the one pictured on the website has a needle roller bearing not a bush, it'll need some lubrication either way.

it'll make a difference if you've got wear on your gear change shaft but on a new or low mileage bike I can't see it making any difference, I had to fit a new shaft in mine and there was definite wear on the old one where it passed through the bearing and you could see a tiny amount of sideways movement when you operated the gear lever.
With the new shaft there's no play at all and the action feels a lot more positive, although at the same time I also fitted some shim washers on the gear lever pivot to take some of the play out of that as well.

Theres some nicely machine parts on the website though:smileup:

Just spoke to Dale, it’s meant to be a bronze bush for the Daytona 06-12

Actually better as there won’t be us much need to keep it lubed up, less likely to fail and it’s a tighter tolerance

  13. Yea I wasn’t worried. Just thought it funny the instructions said that lol.

  14. Thanks for clarifying though, so his name isn’t sullied in anyway. Look forward to putting it on

If they did the chain adjusters for the 675 I'd be all over it. Put a good word in

    Chain adjusters with lifters

Also said about a bling front sprocket nut

  18. like that idea.
To be honest will I feel a difference in shifting on road?
I brought more as a little protection for the sensor, think it’s the gear position sensor.
