Winter Clean
Just like all fair weather riders, once winter creeps in the deep clean starts. We have just finished our winter clean at 675.cc – so what did we do?
- 675.cc Mobile Phone Apps
- SSL and Privacy Policy
- Image Optimisation and Template Edits
iOS (Apple), Android (Google Play) and Windows Phone (Microsoft) apps have all been updated to fix a few issues. Based on the Tapatalk engine and offered for free we hope that our apps help keep everyone connected.
We have taken the time to install a SSL certificate onto our site. This ensures communication is encrypted between your computer and our server, on top of this we have just published our first privacy policy.
We have gone through about 40,000 images optimising them to save room on the server and to reduce download time when browsing the site. Edits have also been made to a few templates to ensure the site looks even slicker.
We have also made a load of techie improvements that would send most asleep! So what we’re trying to say is that the site is at it’s finest and is waiting for your input 24/7 with zero adverts! Be sure to follow us on Facebook and download our free app.

We’ve gone SSL secure!
You might notice the little padlock at the top of the screen when browsing 675.cc. This is our newest addition, ok not much to shout about however what it does say the connection between your computer and our server is secure using encryption.
Since installing the SSL certificate (the bit that makes the site more secure) our app’s data has disappeared. We hope to have this fixed ASAP.
Content Building – Drinks on us!* (* if you can help!)
For a while now we’ve been running 675.cc version 2 new and improved web interface; however since it’s overhaul content outside of the forum has been non-existent. So to try and get the ball rolling we’re advertising for some content building help! We’re looking for people to offload their knowledge in the form of a short article. In return, all credit to the author will be noted on any article and we will also send enough funds for a drink (or three) via paypal as a gesture of thanks!

In other news, memory lane has been echoing the desire to ride in groups again. This year and last year we had a ride-out from Hinckley, UK. Keep an eye out as we will be looking at another location for next year! The winter maybe here, but the summer awaits!

Harlow vs Bikers & Planned Server Works
An injunction which prevents group riding between 10AM-12 Midnight has been taken out in Harlow, Essex. The injunction bans groups of two or more people from taking part in unauthorised ride outs between 10am and 12midnight on any public land or public highway in Harlow. It covers ride outs involving both motor cycles and motor vehicles. Anyone breaking the injunction would be in contempt of court and may be sent to prison. More Information Here
Seems a little harsh and is a great way to try and alienate the biker community. However after huge uproar Harlow Council apologises and explains what the injunction is all about: read the apology here.
In other news, due to essential server maintenance on the 30th May 2016 from 10PM-10:30PM 675.cc will be down. The planned outage will allow for the server’s CPU cooler to be changed. We’re constantly ensuring the technical side of the site remains current and up-to-date to ensure 675.cc lives for many more years to come! 🙂
